What sort of cover can you offer me?

We can protect all the things that matter to you. Choose from Buildings, Contents and Personal Possessions. We can only include Personal Possessions in your cover if you have already chosen our Contents policy. You can find more details in the summary of cover and the policy wording.

Do I need Home insurance?

Knowing insurance cover will help you replace your belongings or repair your home in the event of an accident will ensure your peace of mind. If you’re a homeowner, mortgage companies are almost certain to insist that you have adequate buildings insurance. You can find more details in the summary of cover and the policy wording.

What is the difference between buildings and contents?

Buildings insurance covers the structure of your home together with its fixtures and fittings. Contents insurance covers the contents of the home, usually the items you would take with you if you moved home.

Can I save more if I have buildings and contents insurance with Zurich?

Absolutely. Take out both our buildings and contents policies together and we will give you a further discount.

Can I cover my PC?

Yes. Your PC will be covered for selected events under your Contents cover. If you want cover outside the home choose ‘Personal Possessions Cover’.

Am I covered if I work from home?

Yes, as long as you only do clerical or administrative work at home. Your policy will then provide up to £10,000 of office equipment within the home under the Contents section.

How do I make a claim?

You can find details on how to make a claim, along with a claim form, in the Home Solutions Zuricare Assistance booklet we sent you with your policy documents. If you haven’t got a copy of the booklet, you can get one from us on 0800 0966 233, or from your broker. You can reach our Claims Team on 0870 010 8888 around the clock, 365 days a year.

What if I need Emergency Assistance?

We’ll be there if you need us, whenever you need us. Just call our 24 hour Zuricare Assistance line on 0870 010 8888 and we will arrange for a local approved tradesman to help you. You will have to pay for the work carried out yourself but we will pay you back if the damage is covered by your Zurich insurance policy.
